Looking after my mum since my dad died? Advice Please?

Your mother is lonely and bored. Try to find a daycare for the elderly, where she can go every day if she wants to. She will have company, and there will be activities for her to occupy her time. Tell her that you realise she is lonely and bored but you have lots to do as well and see what she thinks about this idea. You could choose a recreation center together. Put aside a time for you and your mom to get together for a cup of coffee or something, where you can catch up on each other's lives, maybe once or twice a week. Call her every day. Don't let her make you feel guilty even if she accuses you of wanting to get rid of her. You have to live your own life. Good luck with everything.
